At Absolute Pest Management, we use Termidor® a state of the art termite control chemical. Termidor® is a long-term and environmentally responsible termiticide. We are trained and certified in the application of Termidor to provide a safe and effective termite barrier. The active ingredient in Termidor is fipronil, a new class of chemicals. To termites it’s lethal by both ingestion and contact, a dual mode of action which is unique. Termidor is also a non-repellent, which means that termites remain unaware of its presence while foraging in a treated area. Since Termidor allows termites to continue their normal routines for a period, they remain vital long enough to transfer the insecticide to other termites in the colony before dying. This combined ingestion and transfer effect routinely provides 100% termite control in 3 months or less. Yet the recommended dose of Termidor is low, making it a responsible as well as an effective solution.
